Despite the unrelenting afternoon heat, bikers poured onto the grounds of #1 American Legion on US #1, Titusville, for Bike Day.The band, “Yesteryear” was tuning up on the brand new stage, food was being served, riders were quenching their thirst after a hot ride….hey, it was shaping up to be one good party!!
Lots of room to park the scoots...all in plain sight, then, a short walk to the huge pavilion, the cooling over-head fans, and the bar, where a cool one was surely waiting!!
One group of Legion Riders came in from Mulberry...170 miles...for this event…!!
THAT’S dedication!! It was my pleasure to have met Bill Moore, Post Commander, and also, Lou Napolitano, whose bike we shot for OUTLAW BIKER years ago, plus a good group from nearby 359 Legion, near Port St. John...old home week for this old boy!! Looking forward to #1’s big Car Show, and 359’s first Sat. bike day in August!! Hope to see you all there…
